Kirinda Light House And the Temple Kirinda

Kirinda temple which was built in memory of the Queen of Kavan Tissa (Queen Viharamahadevi), who ruled the Southern region from his capital Magama.It is believed that the sacrificed Young princess was landed in the area who became Queen of Kavan Tissa and mother for Warrior king Dutugemunu.
