You can also do some camping here \u2013 get here early in the morning to enjoy the glorious sunrise. Wangedigala is a Sinhala word, which translates to pestle in English \u2013 the mountain is called Wangedigala on account of its pestle-like shape. The scenic hiking trail falls through a pine forest. Tourists are advised to take extra care when climbing the mountain, especially when it\u2019s raining.
